Dr. Don Whitney

Dr. Don Whitney is associate professor of Biblical Spirituality at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He held a similar position at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for ten years.  He holds a B.A. from the University of Arkansas, an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Professor Whitney is currently completing a Ph.D. in Christian Spirituality at the University of South Africa. Before going to Midwestern, he pastored Glenfield Baptist Church in Illinois for nearly fifteen years.  He has authored a number of books including Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, How Can I Be Sure I'm A Christian? and Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health and Simplify Your Spiritual Life.
